Transition Bootcamp for High School Students on IEP's

The Spina Bifida Association of Cincinnati is working with several other disability support groups and service providers to present the 1st Annual Transition Bootcamp.  Learn what is available once the bus stops coming to take your student to school.

  • What volunteer activities and programs are available during the day?
  • What do I need to know about attending college or trade school?
  • How do I sustain meaningful relationships?
  • Where do I find appropriate recreational opportunities?
  • Is there support available to help me navigate my new adult life?

All of these questions and more will be answered in this 4 evening "bootcamp".  Don't miss your opportunity to hear what the experts say about transition and meet providers who "are in the trenches".   People on an IEP and their parents are encouraged to attend.

Click here to register on the Down Syndrome Association Web site.  The 4 evenings are free, but you must click on buy tickets as an attendee for $0 to register.
